This qualification provides a deeper understanding of first aid principles, enabling participants to assess and manage a wider range of medical emergencies effectively. To enroll in the Level 2 Award in First Aid, participants must meet the following entry requirements:
- Prior Learning: Successful completion of the Level 1 Award in First Aid or an equivalent introductory first aid course or experience.
- Minimum Age: Learners must be at least 16 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Physical Capability: Participants should be physically able to perform practical tasks such as CPR, bandaging, and casualty movement, which may require kneeling, bending, or lifting.
- Health & Wellbeing: Learners should be in good general health and capable of performing first aid procedures safely in potentially stressful situations.
- Language Proficiency: Since the course is conducted in English, participants should have sufficient English language skills to read materials, participate in discussions, and complete written assessments.
- Basic Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and numerical understanding are beneficial for completing course requirements and online learning components.
The Level 2 Award in First Aid consists of the following core units:

The Level 2 Award in First Aid is a 2-day (6-hour per day) training program.
All participants are required to complete mandatory assessments, conducted through approved training centers.
From admission to certification, the total duration typically ranges from 1 to 3 weeks.
This course is available in multiple flexible learning formats:

- Blended Learning (combination of both)
Participants will be evaluated through a written assessment consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) designed to test theoretical understanding and practical application.
A minimum score of 75% is required to successfully achieve the qualification.
